Rev. Dr. Zephir founded the Dorchester Nazarene Compassionate Center in 1996. He is an elder in the Church of the Nazarene and is the Coordinator of the New England Haitian Nazarene Pastors and also serves as the Coordinator of the Nazarene Compassionate Centers USA/Canada among the Haitian churches. As the founder and executive director of GBNCC, he formulates and articulates the vision for all GBNCC programs and services and is responsible for external relations with funders, partners and community members. Rev. Zephir received his Diploma of Ministerial Study from the Gordon Conwell Seminary. He received his Doctorate in Divinity at Slidell Baptist Seminary in 2008. He is a past Secretary of the New England Haitian Pastors’ Association and serves as the Senior Pastor of the Haitian Church of the Nazarene Friends of the Humble in Mattapan. He has completed the National Faculty Training Program of the National Faith Leaders Training Institute, and has been ranked as a “Lead Trainer” for future NFLTI sessions. In 2011 he was awarded Pastor of the Year by the New England District Church of the Nazarene.
